Wartime veterans, 65 years and older, and their surviving spouses, may be entitled to a tax-free benefit called Aid and Attendance provided by the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). The Benefit is designed to provide financial aid to help offset the cost of long-term care for those who need assistance with the daily activities of living such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and transferring. An experienced local attorney could review your situation to determine if you qualify.
Our Gilbert veterans aid and attendance lawyers are accredited through the Veterans Administration to help you plan and apply for these important benefits. Our Veterans fought and sacrificed so much for our country and this important benefit is one of many ways to help protect and pay for the care that may be needed.
